Behind the Seams - Our Processes

Ever Wondered How We Produce Such High #QualityProducts?
Below we have some behind the scenes footage of our processes...

The Weeding Process

In order to remove all the unwanted parts of the artwork, we have to use a process called 'weeding'. This is a manual process in which a small tool is used to ease out all of the unwanted parts of the design so that it is ready to be pressed onto the garments. In these clips below, we are weeding logos for productions of 'Singing in the Rain' and 'The Little Shop of Horrors'.

The Heat Pressing Process

In order to attach the designs onto the garments, we have to manually press them onto the material using heat. This involves lining the different components up one by one and then applying a large amount of heat to transfer it onto the garment. In these particular clips, we are pressing artwork for productions of 'Singing in the Rain', 'Soho Cinders' and 'The Sound of Music'.
